If there is one regret I’ll have to live with for the rest of my life is that I wish I would have started sooner. I wish I would have just done it. And so, I let that regret now be my fuel. It is the fire that burns deep in my belly. It is the hunger that makes me want more and more and more until I can’t get enough of it. It is the passion and the drive that takes over me like love at first sight. And I can’t help it nor explain it. I let this Love pour over me like honey. This Love is a song that won’t stop playing in my heart. A song that wakes me very morning like mermaids call sailors in the middle of the sea. It asks everything of me, it is all consuming and I willingly surrender all of me to it. It is a wild river that can not be control, it must rush through me and I let it. I love Photography like the Sun loves the Sky. Ever reaching for its heights, ever spreading its rays of Light through the skin of the Sky like a warm hug that is felt long after it stopped…to have, to hold…forever and ever…my Love – Photography.
Today, as my Teacher Rumi would say, “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.”
